The Types of Information We Collect Online
Our Site collects personal information such as names, mailing addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, billing information, credit card and other payment information, and transaction information. In addition, service providers may use Pac-West's Secure Center to enter these types of information about their customers in order to obtain our services for them. Our Site also may collect other types of information, such as survey responses. If you submit an application for employment through our Site, you also may be asked to submit your resume information.
Like many websites, our Site monitors visitor traffic patterns by logging tracking data, which is collected automatically from each Site visitor. Tracking data may include, for example, the IP address of the visitor's computer, its browser type and operating system, the referring site, which pages of the Site were visited, the order in which they were visited, and which links were clicked.
Our Site also uses "cookies" (i.e., small text files placed on a visitor computer's hard drive) and other technologies that allow us to recognize your browser when you visit our Site. They help us determine information such as the type of content that a visitor accesses on our Site and the length of time that the visitor spends on any particular area of the Site. You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies or notify you when a cookie is set. (Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.) You can visit our Site without accepting cookies. However, your browser must be set to accept cookies in order for you to log into and use Pac-West's Secure Center.
Our Site is not directed toward children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
How We Use and Disclose Information Collected Online
Pac-West uses the information we collect online for the purposes for which it is provided and to enhance the products and services we offer to you. For example, we use your personal information to complete transactions that you enter into using our Site. We also may use your personal information to communicate with you about specific transactions, to make sure that you are satisfied with our products and services, or to find out how we can serve you better.
Visitors to our website may enter their contact information in order to request information about our services or products. If you submit this type of request, we may periodically send you information about new products, services, or features we think you will find valuable.
We use tracking data and information obtained through cookies and other technologies to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer our Site, and to improve Site-related services and features. This data also may be used to analyze customer traffic patterns and Site usage trends. We may share aggregated statistical data and other non personally identifiable information with our current and potential business partners.
Pac-West works with billing vendors and other types of third-party service providers, and shares personal information with these service providers in order to provide these services. Although Pac-West seeks to require these service providers to protect such personal information, and to use it only for the purpose for which it was provided, Pac-West cannot be responsible for third parties' violations of this Policy or of any other rights of visitors or consumers that use our Site.
Pac-West will provide personal information to law enforcement and other entities when it determines that such disclosure is required by subpoena, warrant, court order, or other applicable law or process. Pac-West may provide personal information and other information collected online to a purchaser or successor entity in the event of a sale of our business or assets.
Pac-West takes measures designed to prevent unauthorized intrusion of the Site and the alteration, acquisition or misuse of personal information. Unfortunately, however, no security system or system of transmitting data over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Thus, while Pac-West seeks to protect personal information, Pac-West cannot be responsible for loss, corruption, or unauthorized acquisition of personal information furnished to our Site or for any resulting damages.

Our Site includes links to other Internet websites, including sites that we do not own or operate. For example, online requests for investor information are directed to a third-party service provider. Unless otherwise expressly stated, Pac-West is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites, including such sites' use of any information collected when Site visitors click through links to those sites. If you visit such websites, we encourage you to check the privacy practices of the sites.
