Conferencing Service Support

 

Pac-West no longer offers Conference Service to new customers. However, customers that previously purchased Conference Services through Tex-Link can continue to use their services without interruption. Details on the services and links to launch conference calls are provided below.


To Begin a Conference Call:

  • At the agreed upon meeting date and time, the Moderator and Participants dial the Pac-West/Tex-Link Conferencing Toll Free Number. 1-866-512-0905.
  • Enter the Pass Code followed by the Pound (#) sign.
  • The Moderator is prompted to press star (*).
  • The Moderator enters the Moderator Code followed by the Pound (#) sign.

As an account holder you have access to the following value-added services:

 

Customer Self Serve

Simply login at The Conference Portal to manage and view information about your conferencing account.

  • Set/Change Account Options
  • Add/Edit Moderator(s)*
  • View your Instant Replay information
  • Download a .wav file of your recorded calls
  • Change Account codes
  • View Usage Reports

* Only Account Owners can add Moderators

 

Instant Replay

At any time during a conference, you can press *4 to record the call. Instant Replay dial-in information to listen to your recorded calls is available at the Customer Self Serve site.

 

Audio Point

Using a Power Point presentation in conjunction with your conference call couldn’t be easier than it is with Audio Point. With a few simple clicks of your mouse, your presentation will be loaded and your guests invited to join your web presentation.

 

To Begin an Audio Point Conference:

  1. Click Here to go to the Audio Point Conference Entry Page.
  2. Log in using your Pass Code and Moderator Code. After you have successfully logged in, you are presented with a full screen conference window. At the top of the conference window is a toolbar.
  3. Click on the Publish button to upload a Microsoft Power Point presentation.
  4. To publish a presentation, follow these steps:

    • Click the Publish button on the toolbar
    • Click the Browse button in the Publish dialog window
    • Select a document file path using the file explorer window
    • Click the Publish button in the Publish dialog window

    After completing these steps your presentation is automatically copied and converted into a TexLink Conferencing Audio Point presentation.

  5. Invite participants by directing them to www.pacwest.com/support/texlink-conferencing.php and giving them your Pass Code
  6. To start a meeting, click the Start a Meeting Now! Button.
  7. End the conference by clicking the STOP button on the toolbar.

Web Lite and Web Pro

As an account holder you can immediately use Web Lite and Web Pro. Your current Pass Code and Moderator Code will allow you to host a web conference instantly with no advanced planning or reservations required.

 

To Begin a Web Lite or Web Pro Conference:

  1. Click Here to go to the Web Lite or Click Here to go to the Web Pro Conference Entry Page.
  2. Log in using your Pass Code and Moderator Code. After you have successfully logged in, you are presented with a full screen conference window. At the top of the conference window is a toolbar.
  3. Click on the Publish button to upload a Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft PowerPoint document.
  4. To Publish a document follow these steps:

    • Click the Publish button on the toolbar
    • Click the Browse button in the Publish dialog window
    • Select a document file path using the file explorer window
    • Click the Publish button in the Publish dialog window

    After completing these steps your document is automatically copied and converted into a TexLink Conferencing Web Lite and Web Pro presentation.
